Starting 6 October 2025, Meta will introduce a major change: advertisements related to social issues, elections, and politics will no longer be allowed across the European Union. This decision follows new EU regulations on the transparency and targeting of political advertising (TTPA).<\/p>\n
For social profit organisations, this is a real gamechanger. But at DSC, we\u2019re ready to guide you through this new digital landscape.<\/p>\n
Meta now classifies the following topics as \u201csensitive\u201d and will no longer allow paid ads related to them:<\/p>\n
Any ad that takes a stance on these topics will be rejected.<\/strong> Meta will also review not only the ad\u2019s visuals and text but also the landing page.<\/p>\n For non-profits and NGOs, this is a significant limitation: paid campaigns on their core missions will no longer be possible. Examples:<\/p>\n However, communication on Meta remains possible - as long as the message is neutral and informative, without expressing a social or political opinion.
