On 12 December 2025, the Arizona majority in Parliament approved this draft law (\u201cVarious provisions\u201d).<\/p>\n<p><strong>This means that the tax deduction for donations of \u20ac40 or more is reduced from 45% to 30% (art. 67). The law applies retroactively and covers all donations made since 1 January 2025 (art. 90).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We recommend that you communicate about this as clearly as possible with your supporter base:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always mention the correct percentage of 30%.<\/li>\n<li>Refer to a FAQ on your website for more information and\/or provide a contact point where people can ask questions (e.g. a donor care email address and phone number).<\/li>\n<li>Focus on the social impact of your organization. The tax benefit is an extra incentive to give, but not the main reason.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At DSC, we are closely monitoring this development.
